Yang Xiaohua
Summary
In the birthplace of modern alpinism, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, a new chapter of climbing history is being written.
Arc’teryx mountain athlete Yang Xiaohua becomes the first Chinese woman accepted into the rigorous IFMGA certification program. “When you’re in the mountains, you have to be absolutely honest. You can’t pretend to be strong,” she says. Pushing through loneliness, doubt, and fatigue, Xiaohua commits to the never-ending process of learning from the mountains.
Her motto: There are no problems, only solutions.
