Invitation to a New Climber

We collaborated with the Flash Foxy climbing community to build this contrapuntal poem: A form that interweaves multiple poems together. Crafted with words from women and genderqueer climbers from Flash Foxy, this piece explores the transformation that occurs when we are seen, supported, and heard.

These are their words — words of reassurance and hope. They are an invitation to come climb as you are. They are a promise that someone is listening.
